kiss and make up

Whew! The buyer who left the negative feedback has accepted my offer to send replacement note cards and used the "kiss and make up" feature on Etsy to change her feedback. I can't even tell you how happy it makes me to have my "100% positive feedback" back! Thanks so much for all of the kind comments and emails - I really appreciate it!

Hi there. Just wanted to say that I think your cards and stationary are super cute!

lucky! The person who purchased from me hasn't responded to my 'kiss and make-up' offer from 3 months ago, which further propels my thoughts that she was just one of those one-time etsy visitors.

Great news for you!

Wow! I'm so glad things are starting to improve. Just remember, you can only control your own actions, not those of others (unless they are your kids!) Ha!

Do you have a suggestion of tutorials for learning to draw in some of the programs you mentioned? I don't think I'll be buying illustrator anytime soon but maybe I could still learn from them. How did you learn how to draw the shapes you use for boarders (like the scalloped), etc.?

Thanks again and I'm glad you're in better spirits about the whole Etsy thing again!

Hi Head Hen,

I just downloaded the free trial of Illustrator and played around with it. I checked out a couple of Illustrator books from the library, but they weren't very helpful, probably just because I didn't have the time or patience to go through all the lessons.

So I just figured out how to the the things I needed to do through trial and error. There are probably a lot of short cuts that would save me time if I took the time to learn more about Illustrator, but so far I've taught myself everything I've needed. Sorry that doesn't help much!

Thanks for your comment!
