I'm not going to read through all of the comments to see if someone has suggested this, but I noticed you only have winter holiday cards? Maybe you could expand into other holidays as well? Valentine's Day cards could be really cute!

I like to give baked goods away as gifts, so a mini card with an image of something like a cake /pie/ cookie /oven mitt/ baker's hat/ bowl&spoon silhouette and the words "Baked with Love" or "A Special Treat For You" would be nice!

What about luggage tags? Covered in hard plastic with a loop? Those come in handy for things other than luggage, too! Great giveaway - thanks for offering!

i LOVE your work!! here's an idea for those of us expecting... since you do such fantastic drawings, how about a cute little pregnant mom-to-be silhouette for shower & other thank yous? or something involving a wedding dress for bride-to-be thank you notes! :)

Since kids love animals so much, why not kids with animals.

I would like to see the silhouettes small enough to fit into a jewelry frame (for necklaces, bracelets, etc.)

I love all of your designs-especially the notecards!

i flipped thru the images and hope i didn't miss one like this, but what about a mom cradling a newborn for the birth announcements?

I think you should design postage stamps with little girls and boys on them.

I would love to see some snowmen in your holiday area.

Hi. You use a lot of silhouettes. My idea is to take an actual photograph of the child (for personalized stationary or invitations) and make a silhouette from the actual photograph to make it more personal. I'm not sure if it would work but I think it would cool.

I'm always on the hunt for cute 'TO: FROM:' stickers at Christmas time that don't involve Mr. Clause or a bunch of goofy elves! I think your family image in red on cream would be just the ticket!

annie said...

I didn't read through all 203 comments, so forgive me if this is a repeat! I love everything you do. What about making stamps? We used a stamp of our silhoutte in our wedding invitations and thank you notes and I love continuing to use it, even though it's three years later. :) Have you done fabric? Like screenprinted pillows or stretch canvas art? I didn't see it, but I wasn't sure. Or a picture book of simple activities or things? I don't know. I'm just naming things that sound fun to me. :)

Christi said...

I love the idea of the personalized Christmas ornaments. We have a special family tree that we put up each year. These would be perfect!

Crayl said...

In the holiday section I notice there is nothing with any religious feel at all. Even if yous family is not of a specific faith, perhaps offering something would boost sales. A manger seen, 3 wise men following the star, or perhaps the star of David, it would be very stunning on your blue paper. Thanks for a chance.:)

There are over 200 comments so I'm not too sure what everyone has already suggested. Have you thought about doing a personalized pendent with some of your designs? I love custom jewelry. Some of your circle stickers would work well for that. You could also try doing posters and custom address plates (like what goes up next to the front door).

You have beautiful work. Two ideas I have:

you know those stickers people put on their rear car window- one sticker for each family member- you could do something like that

ABC cards- like flashcards for learning the alphabet or for putting up as a border in a child's room. A for apple, B for banana, etc.

I love the 8x10 individual silhouettes. All the ones you have are really active, maybe one reflecting the quiet times? I'd love one of a little girl holding her bear and sucking her thumb, to remember the way my daughter cuddles with me at the end of a long day of all those activities.

Sarah Rose said...

I love calling cards, so that would be one idea...
Also, it's probably out in left field, but it would be incredible if you could do custom silhouettes.

All of the postcards I saw were springy except the Winter one. Maybe you should have some with fall trees. I'd also like to see more animal silhouettes.

what about gift tags and stickers. you could do them with the same silhouettes. or book plates would be cool. also doing personalized ones if someone sent you a picture you could do their childs silhouettes. or even wedding picture silhouettes for married couples to send thank you letters or engagement announcements even.

FaithfulMommy said...

I adore the silhouettes. I would love to have the head silhouettes of my children. :)

I saw your winter themed designs and think it would be cute to have a summer time design too. Kids with beach pails and shovels or kids running through a sprinkler.

Mia J. said...

This is my first time to your site and I love your work. I did notice that some people suggested bookmarks that I thought would be a good idea, maybe also journals or scrapbook type of items. I think some of your images would be cute for a little girls diary.

Jessica-MomForHim said...

Okay, I didn't read all 278 comments before mine, so I don't know if this was suggested. I really like the silhouettes, how about doing family ones where you could customize them a little more based on the makeup of your family?

StrusaD said...

I love the "sisters" post card, however I have 3 girls and I am always looking for things with 3 girls or in sets of 3. A similar cars with 3 (or more)girls would be cute! (My parents had several boys in a row and they had the same problem finding boy things with more then two)

Ren said...

I didn't read the other comments to see if these ideas have already been suggested...

A holiday stationary card I'd love to have is a family (or even a child) decorating the Christmas tree, as that's our favorite Christmas activity.

Other kid stationary ideas -- flying a kite or a small child chasing a dog. My toddler loves to play sports and bang on anything that might resemble a drum. I would love to have stationary/thank you cards that captured his spirit in that way.

Unknown said...

Your work is so sweet! I'd suggest family cards, with silhouette's for the whole family, or a pet line - because some people only have furbabies!

nikkicrumpet said...

I love the cards...they are really unique. I'd love to see some silhouettes that added pets in with the kids...a dog and a cat would be great. Also I love polka dots...so some stationary with polka dots would catch my personal eye.

remission said...

i'd really love to see some more designs with a tropical look/sillhouette but that may be because i live in hawai'i. thanks for the giveaway. your stuff is lovely!

Gina said...

It would be nice to have a sticker that you could attach to a ribbon/bow that works like a gift tag. That way you could attach it to the ribbons/bows on birthday gifts without ruining the bags for future use. We often forget to add nametags for birthday gifts.

I skimmed the comments and I didn't see this, so I hope it isn't a repeat:

In your "teacher stationary" section -- maybe different designs for different age levels that teachers teach? Or maybe more specific to a subject, like a kid reading under a tree for English teachers, or kids with safari animals for Geography or something.

Maybe something with the flowers associated with each month of the year. Or you could do some designs with kids dressing up in a classic role like cowboys, fireman, teacher, nurse, etc. that holds true to the design aesthetic that you already have going on.

I would love to see a school scene... like a teacher and student, perhaps sitting at a desk (?)... on postcards to send happy notes to parents on.

I love to see you designs 3D almost, like maybe felt silhouettes on your cards instead of just printed silhouettes.
Gorgeous goods by the way!

I would love to have cutesy business cards like these.

I love your silhouettes, especially the ones that are about toys and play. One idea I had was to expand the repertoire to include other toy icons like rockets, tractors, jack-in-the box, trains, jacks...all sorts of vintage toys!

I'd love to see 2 sisters on a swing... You do AWESOME work. Thanks!

Wow, such amazing talent. You are truly gifted. Thanks for using your gift to encourage others. Ummmm, I would like to see maybe some sort of paper dedicated to adoption. Maybe a prayer card for the family as they depart for a foreign country to bring home their new baby/child. Or, a special announcement of the new member, who may/may not be a newborn.

What about some type of letters that spell out the childs name for their bedroom doors?

I am not sure if anyone suggested it..but the new hot thing in NYC are clothing swaps..so a cute sex in the city type card announcing the ladies to bring gently used clothing and accessories might be useful in these green and prudent times. Great website..thanks for sharing..Z

I've always been a big fan of your silhouttes and personalized prints. I think it would be fun to add texture to your cards- like a swiss dot around the edges or inside the scallop.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but mom calling cards would be cute.

how about pop up cards?? i think that would be sweet! or like place cards? notebooks?

First of all, I love your look! You have a great line of products. They are elegantly simple.
I'm not sure whether you're looking for more ideas for silhouettes to draw or for ideas what to do with the ones you have, but I have ideas for both.
If you're looking for silhouettes to draw, people of all different ages would be great.. teenagers, grandparents, etc. Also different activites, careers, accessories, etc.
If you are looking for ideas on what to do with the ones you have, I'd like to see scrapbooking kits, bookmarks, rubber stamps, and fabric. As a quilter, I would especially like to see fabric.

A family album with your design would be gorgeous. You could do the holiday silhouettes, the family silhouettes, the new baby silhouettes. Your options are endless and I would love to have one.

Your work is beautiful!

I would love to see an image of a globe surrounded by children. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Or how about those cute smiley face families printed on stationary!

If I don't win, I may just have to buy some of your work because it's so beautiful!

Love the new website! I think custom wrapping paper with your signature sillouttes would be a fun idea. It could be coordinated with gift tags/stickers/etc.

Lovely work! I would add more animals and maybe some things like ladybugs. Maybe add more designs to the Holiday section, such as a Christmas tree, Snowman, Santa, or Rodolph.

My aunt gave me some post-its that were personalized to our family with different persons and our names under them. I loved this gift. Maybe you could do something like that.

I looked at your holiday selection as that is what I'm thinking about these days. I don't have kids, but LOVED your sillouette style cards! Adult sillouettes would be fun too!
