edible icing decals

I've been intrigued by edible icing decals ever since I came across Erin McGinley's shop, Hello Frosting, in April. Erin sent me some custom icing decals for my son's birthday party so I could try them out, and I loved them! I used them on the cupcakes at his party and on sugar cookies for party favors.
A couple of weeks ago I ordered all of the supplies and equipment so I could begin offering them, and today I was finally able to add them to my website.
Yesterday I made some cupcakes for my first round of photos, and I'm planning on making some shortbread cookies soon for some party favor photos.

I have been wanting to play with icing decals and was so excited to read your blog. Where do you buy the sheets of printable decals? Thank you!!

I've actually stopped offering these, and I'm not able to recommend the brand of decals that I had been using. I did a lot of research online and found several different brands. When I decided to stop offering these, I printed several sheets of decals for my sister's upcoming baby shower in a really pretty lilac and moss green. I put them back in the sealed plastic bag and cardboard mailer that the decals arrived in and set them aside. I donated my printer and sold my remaining supplies. A month later, the day before the shower, I got out the decals and the ink had turned dark blue! I don't know if that happens with all brands, but the decals are supposed to last for a year if stored properly, so I was completely shocked!
