I had an idea this morning for rectangular gift tags that you can just tape to a birthday gift, and I wouldn't have to punch them & string them with ribbon. I think they're pretty cute, so I went ahead and posted them in my Etsy shop. What do you think???

I love the party hat one!
Hi Sarah!
I love your Etsy store! Wonderful ideas, and so creative.
I have a quick question. You have them printed at a printers right? Do you cut them out 1 X 1 after, or does your printing company do it for you?
Which leads me to.... when you do get your own high quality printer, will you cut them out?
I hope you don't mind my asking. I have a Cricut, but the detail to print and then cut is not a possibility. (Or it is and I'm too slow!) lol ;)

Hi Daphne,
Thanks for your comment! It's always such a treat to get comments - I really appreciate it! :)
So far I've been using Kinkos for my printing (which I'll be thrilled to be done with some day!) and cutting my tags by hand. After filling a few orders for gift tags I took a closer look at how long it was taking me and raised my prices. I probably won't sell any more tags at my new prices, but I feel like my time is worth more than what I was charging.
My plan is to create some more new designs and then start using a full service printer that will cut tags (square or rectangle tags that don't need ribbon) and cut and fold greeting cards. I really want to just focus on design and running the business and not spend my time cutting, hole punching, and folding!
Sara
