A customer had some really clever design ideas yesterday for invitations, thank you notes, return address labels, and party favor stickers for her son's upcoming birthday party. I just love how they turned out (especially with my lovely new "pool" envelopes)!

This is one of my favorite color combinations, too (like on the
Mahar Drygoods website). When I was packaging everything up I wanted to add a little "thank you" item in the package, so I made this 8x10 print:

I thought about listing it in my
Etsy shop, but now I'm having second thoughts. Is it cute on it's own as a print, or better just as an invitation design? Or maybe it would be a cute personalized fold over note card?

I think they are adorable! But, I do think the print would be more of an add-on if someone were to purchase the invitations... I'm not sure the print has the same effect without seeing the invites first. But then again, that just might be my opinion, because I DID see the invites first! :)
I think I like the invites best, especially the favor tag. The two different colors are really cute and that rooster...goodness, he's really fetching.
BTW - I got my frame and print! Thank you thank you! I love it and hope the recipient does, too.
I've been looking at your blog for awhile now, and I even have a link from my blog to yours,so people can check out your work. I absolutely love your stuff! This is great. I love everything about it. The color combination is perfect. You have an amazing talent. I really like the inviations and such, but I think the print does well on it's own as well. Sorry, that probably didn't help your dilema any. You have a wonderful gift.
God Bless
Alyssa
